I’ll tell ya, I feel like one of the greatest challenges I face as a parent is teaching my children sound financial principles when a) I did a pretty crappy job of it myself for most of my life and b) the prevailing culture is to borrow money and consume whatever you want.
Stories like this one help me stick to my guns and give me hope for my kids. Now, about those unwashed dishes…
