I must admit, I am often at fault for this. It’s easy to write copy that consists mostly of fluff, which leaves you pulling out a tired exclamation point to try and convince your reader that, “No! Trust me! This is really exciting stuff!” while not actually saying anything interesting.

I hate high standards.

A co-worker heard me pounding away on the keyboard and asked me how fast I can type. It’d been awhile since I’d taken a test, so I gave one a spin.

Good to know I still gots the skillz. The cool kids are all still fast typists, right?

Side note: Would it have involved that much extra programming to serve up “1 word” and “1 error deducted” instead of “words” and “errors”?
