Had a great time at the first Orlando Mini Maker Faire today. Saw lots of cool demonstrations, hacks, inventions, pieces of art, and other geeky stuff. Even ran into a couple of co-workers, which was a nice surprise. There was stuff from comic book artists to water-power rockets to people making hand-bound leather journals or a singing Tesla coil. Everyone was super friendly, happy to show off their creations, and chat ya up. Also, there was plenty of hands-on things for kids to do. Will definitely go back next year.
